Natalie Stewart, MBA, serves as Senior Advisor for Quality Services at Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA). In this role, she leads several divisions dedicated to supporting clinicians in understanding and meeting the requirements of numerous national and state quality initiatives, including the Quality Payment Program (QPP) and its Merit-based Incentive Payment Program (MIPS), Meaningful Use (MU), Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), and the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS).

Natalie manages the content experts who provide guidance to Indiana clinicians through the QPP Resource Center™ for the Midwest (QPP-RC); the Healthy Hearts in the Heartland (H3) research project; and the Indiana Medicaid Meaningful Use Assistance Program

Natalie began her Purdue University career in 2011 at the Purdue Regional Extension Center (PurdueREC), a division of PHA focused on supporting hospitals and providers across Indiana in the adoption of certified electronic health record technology (CEHRT) and the fulfillment of and attestation to federal MU standards. To date, the PurdueREC has guided more than 50 hospitals and 3,000 providers to MU, with Natalie coaching more than 30 hospitals and 450 providers.  She also directly assisted two Indiana-based Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) to transform their care delivery models in order to achieve Level 2 PCMH recognition through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).  The PCMH model drives patient care excellence by emphasizing comprehensive, accessible, and coordinated care delivered in a team-based model that is dedicated to quality and safety.

Natalie is a Certified Meaningful Use Professional; a Certified Health IT Professional in the areas of practice workflow and information management redesign; and holds advanced certifications in both Lean Healthcare and Lean Six Sigma.  Prior to joining Purdue, Natalie worked for more than a decade in hospital physician practice management, serving her final two years as the department’s patient access supervisor.  Natalie earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University ('06) and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University ('10).
