Zach Farmer, MBA-HCM, RRT, LSSGB, serves as Senior Advisor-Process Improvement at Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA).  In this role, he assists healthcare organizations in aligning strategy, deployment, and daily improvement to meet operational, clinical and financial objectives. He also is responsible for establishing long-term relationships with health systems as they build a common approach to improvement; leading focused work in strategic areas; and actively engaging in leading continuous improvement across the organization.  In addition, Zach works closely with PHA leadership to develop new service offerings and expand PHA’s global brand.

Zach has eight years of experience working in healthcare operations and delivery.  Prior to joining the PHA team, he served in the following roles at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital:  East Central Region Transformation Officer, Project Manager-Transformational Deployment Leader, and Manager-Respiratory Care Service Line.  Prior to joining IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital, Zach served in the following roles at IU Health University Hospital, Supervisor-Respiratory Care and Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Zach earned an associate’s degree (University of Southern Indiana, ‘08) and bachelor’s degree (IUPUI, ‘09) in respiratory therapy followed by an MBA in healthcare management (Western Governors University, ’12). Throughout his collegiate career Zach was awarded the following:  Golden Key International Honor Society Inductee, membership via the Indiana University School of Medicine Health Professions Dean’s List, the Essa P. Goebel Academic Achievement Award, Lambda Beta National Honor Society inductee and the Evansville Pulmonary Associates Clinical Skills Award.  He holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and a Healthcare Manager Certification.
