Federally Subsidized MU Assistance for Indiana Primary Care Providers

As one of 62 regional extension centers across the country charged by the federal government with guiding eligible providers to Meaningful Use, the PHA-managed Purdue Regional Extension Center (PurdueREC) has assisted hundreds of hospitals, clinics, large and small provider practices demonstrate Meaningful Use (MU) of electronic health records systems (EHRs).

 

State-Subsidized MU Assistance for Ambulatory Organizations in Indiana

In October 2014, PHA was awarded $2.3M from the Indiana Family of Social Services Administration (FSSA) to continue its work in guiding Indiana-based, Medicaid-eligible healthcare providers toward MU standards. Providers eligible under this grant to receive assistance must be eligible for Medicaid Meaningful Use incentives and can be described as one of the following:
  • Physicians/nurse practitioners who practice in small groups/independent practices; 
  • Federally Qualified Health Clinics (FQHCs); 
  • Community Health Clinics (CHCs); and 
  • Rural Health Clinics (RHCs).

MU Assistance to Providers not Eligible Under Grant-Funded Services
