Managing Advisor-Lean Facilitator (or Associate Advisor)

To accommodate the introduction of new training and certification programs, Purdue Healthcare Advisors is expanding its team and actively seeking to fill multiple positions. The Managing Advisor-Lean Facilitator is responsible for providing training, coaching and lean improvement events on the client site and remotely.  The position will report to the Principal Advisor in the Lean / Six Sigma Service Line. The Associate Advisor-Lean Facilitator works closely with Senior of Managing Advisors to assist in providing training, coaching, and lean improvement event facilitation on the client site and remotely. The facilitator will receive training in PHA’s lean methods to perform the following duties (1) prepare and deliver multi-day lean training experience at the client site; (2) provide post-training coaching to prepare clients for delivery and facilitation of lean improvement events to earn their certification; this includes managing content and supporting members in use of Purdue’s Online Community of Practice for Operational Excellence in Healthcare; (3) prepare, deliver and facilitate with minimal supervision 1-5 day Kaizen events including complex events that evolve rapid experiments using PHA’s 9 step A3 problem solving process. The position will be located in West Lafayette, IN (residence must be in Indiana) with travel up to 75% of the time (in and out-of-state). Remote work from home may be available.

Managing Advisor-Learning Technology Specialist

Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA) is searching for a qualified candidate to test, design, deliver and mantain Lean First, an enterprise-scale process improvement program that integrates lean transformation, behavioral science, online communities, continuous improvement at the point of service and micro-learning. This position will work with service line leadership and marketing to develop and implement marketing campaigns (digital and traditional) for all online offerings. The learning management system and online community of practice is being converted to Brightspace, a comprehensive learning environment offered by D2L and we see a tremendous growth opportunity online. We have plans to offer a wide variety of digital badges in lean, create a new online micro-learning service to support behavior change and soft-skill development and even offer customized versions of our online community of practice to clients. Remote work from home is available for this position, but travel to the office located in West Lafayette, Indiana is required based on business need. Online writing samples are required to be considered.

Managing Advisor-Quality Reporting

Purdue Healthcare Advisors' position of Managing Advisor-Quality Reporting (Electronic Health Records/Meaningful Use) will consult the clients on issues related to Electronic Health Records (EHR), Meaningful Use (MU), and Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH). The advisor will work directly with a large number of clients including physicians, other providers and clinical staff as they oversee EHR implementations and health information exchange connectivity implementations. The advisor will provide EHR and MU education; perform data driven gap analyses; and analyze and optimize EHR workflows to enable healthcare providers to achieve MU as defined by the federal government. This position has a limited duration of up to three (3) years with continuation dependent upon additional funding. Remote work available.

Quality Improvement Advisor

Great Lakes Practice Transformation NetworkPurdue Healthcare Advisors' position of Quality Improvement Advisor (QIA) will work directly with physician practices participating in the Great Lakes Practice Transformation Network (GLPTN), of which PHA is a partner. PHA leads the Indiana effort of the three-state coalition of 32 healthcare organizations, and is charged with assisting 3,000 clinicians with the tools, information, and network support needed for practices to improve quality of care, increase patients' access to information, and spend health care dollars more wisely. Each QIA will facilitate change through activities that support the Triple Aim as well as prepare practices for value-based care (MIPS). QIAs will assist with goal setting; future state planning; quality-metric reporting (MU and PQRS); workflow changes; QI implementation; education and implementation of clinician evidence and population health; overall practice transformation. Three (3) years healthcare experience required. Must have ability to travel up to 75%. Remote work may be available.
