Managing Advisor-Quality Services; QPP Advisor; GLPTN QIA
Andrew Cabamalan, MHIHIM, serves as Managing Advisor-Quality Services at Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA). In this role, he supports Indiana clinicians in understanding and meeting the requirements of numerous national and state quality initiatives, including the Quality Payment Program (QPP) and its Merit-based Incentive Payment Program (MIPS), Meaningful Use (MU), Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), and the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS).
Andrew is an Indiana QPP Advisor for the QPP Resource Center™ for the Midwest (QPP-RC); a Quality Improvement Advisor (QIA) for the Great Lakes Practice Transformation Network (GLPTN); and serves Indiana providers through the Indiana Medicaid Meaningful Use Assistance Program. Andrew also provides expertise to practices, clinics and hospitals through fee-for-service work.
Before that, Andrew served as an associate advisor at PHA, where he focused on supporting Indiana healthcare providers in their adoption of electronic health records (EHR) systems and their attestation to EHR Meaningful Use requirements.
Andrew is an alumni of the University of Washington where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration as well as a master’s degree in health informatics and information management. Prior to joining PHA, Andrew worked on a sales team dedicated to Ultrasound Clinical Education and Imaging Systems at Philips HealthTech.
