Managing Advisor-Communications & Marketing
Jeanine Parsch serves Purdue University as a managing advisor for Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA), the university’s outreach initiative for the healthcare industry. In her role with PHA, she brings relevant information to PHA client providers as well as publicizes PHA's many healthcare-improvement success stories. She communicates with strategic markets in Indiana and the Midwest to promote PHA’s service lines through the web, email, events, and media relations.
Prior to PHA, Jeanine served as director of communications & marketing and corporate spokesperson for the Purdue Research Foundation, and was part of a team that spent nine years growing the Purdue Research Parks from a handful of companies into the largest university-affiliated technology incubation complex in the country. She has worked at Purdue University in various media relations roles since 1997, when she left the radio industry. Her nine-year radio career culminated in an anchor/reporter position at Indianapolis-based WIBC-AM/FM, the largest radio news-talk-sports station in the state.
Jeanine is an accredited public relations professional and a member of the Public Relations Society of America. She is an accomplished speechwriter, a skill learned while serving as a Governor's Fellow during college. Her work in broadcasting, public relations and advertising has garnered several awards (Associated Press; Council for the Advancement of Education; and the ADDYs). She holds a bachelor of arts from the School of Journalism at Indiana University and a master of arts from the Brian Lamb School of Communication at Purdue University.
