Purdue Healthcare Advisors' Senior Advisor-Lean Healthcare is an expert in continuous improvement (CI) and has had demonstrated success leading highly complex projects to build organization-wide capabilities in lean, facilitating multidisciplinary problem-solving teams and coaching key personnel and small groups in making the personal transformation needed to adopt CI thinking and behaviors. He/she is expected to provide input into strategic program development, generating innovative ideas for new offerings, and must be able to generate sales. This position may be tasked with developing new service offerings, supervising small teams or otherwise contributing to the process-improvement service line.
A successful candidate for this position will have strong capability to lead teams, mentor and coach others as well as ability to work effectively, develop and maintain cooperative and constructive relationships with diverse groups of people at all levels of the organization and with external constituents.
Required is a bachelor's degree in engineering, science, healthcare, technology or related major; Lean Silver Certified or other advanced-level lean /continuous improvement certification; and six years of progressive professional experience in Lean, continuous improvement, process improvement or service design/innovation work (three years working in a healthcare or non-manufacturing field). A master's degree is preferred. This position requires the ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
Purdue Healthcare Advisors' Managing Advisor-Lean Facilitator is responsible for providing training, coaching, and lean improvement event facilitation on the client site and remotely. The successful candidate will receive training and coaching in PHA's lean tools and methods to prepare and deliver multi-day lean training experience; post-training coaching to help client prepare for, deliver, and facilitate lean improvement events and earn their certification; prepare, deliver, and facilitate with 1-5 day Kaizen events including complex events that involve rapid experiments; and work with clients to implement and run a lean daily improvement process (data collection, visual management, and problem solving huddles) to insure improvements are sustained.
A bachelor's degree; five years of professional experience in manufacturing, service, or healthcare; and advanced skills in training, learning facilitation, and cross-functional team facilitation is required.
Purdue Healthcare Advisors' cybersecurity team annually assists hundreds of healthcare organizations with security risk assessment, compliance, and risk management. The successful Managing Advisor-IT Security candidate will be part of a well-established team of information assurance professionals charged to consult, educate, train and guide healthcare clinics and hospitals facilities throughout the state of Indiana in a variety of information security-related projects.
In alignment with the Purdue Technical Assistance Program and the Purdue Office of Corporate and Global Partnerships, we also provide a wide range of cybersecurity consulting and education activities to the public sector, university partners, and industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of IT security best practices, be able to assess gaps in cybersecurity operations in a variety of information technology environments, and be able to provide clear, pragmatic advice in the form of detailed written and oral reports and presentations.
A bachelor's degree in a computer- or information systems-related field, or our or more years of equivalent experience; and a detailed knowledge of Security and Privacy standards and best practices is required.
