Leigh Ann Griffin
Leigh Ann Griffin, CPHQ, serves as Senior Quality Advisor at Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA). In this role, she supports Indiana clinicians in understanding and meeting the requirements of numerous national and state quality initiatives, including the Quality Payment Program (QPP) and its Merit-based Incentive Payment Program (MIPS), Meaningful Use (MU), Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), and the Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS).
Leigh Ann is an Indiana QPP Advisor for the QPP Resource Center™ for the Midwest (QPP-RC); and serves Indiana providers through the Indiana Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Programs (formerly MU). She also provides fee-for-service MU guidance with an emphasis on coaching Meaningful Use-eligible hospitals (EHs) and critical access hospitals (CAHs).
Her 20+ years of project management experience include working side-by-side with nurses, physicians, and other hospital staff to design process improvements, install computer systems, and meet project timelines. She has extensive experience in public speaking, employee training, and policy and procedure development. She also has served as a HIPAA standards auditor.
Leigh Ann earned a bachelor's degree in business management, a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) designation ('98), and a Lean Six Sigma for Healthcare Black Belt ('14). She has been a member of the Indiana Association for Healthcare Quality (InAHQ) for over 20 years, serving on its board from 1997-2003 and 2013-2015, and again 2017-current. She was elected to serve as president of the InAHQ in 2020.
