Senior Advisor, Lean Facilitator

Jordan Mason


Jordan Mason, MBA, serves as a Senior Advisor, Lean Facilitator, at Purdue Health Advisors. In this role, he supports hospitals and clinics with process improvement projects applying lean methodologies. He also provides process-improvement facilitation and support to I-HOPE, a statewide opportunity designed to address the effects of health disparities for better health outcomes.

Jordan is passionate about helping people overcome difficult situations to become their best selves. Prior to coming to Purdue, he spent six years working as a behavioral health clinician focused on children and families who had experienced extensive trauma and interpersonal conflict as well as individuals diagnosed with a “serious mental illness” that severely impacted their daily lives.

Previously, Jordan served as Quality Manager of a community mental health center, a role in which he led lean process improvement initiatives, created and implemented organization policy, ensured compliance with Joint Commission and CARF standards of care, performed internal audits of processes, and helped lead the implementation of multi-million dollar, grant-funded projects.

Jordan earned a bachelors degree in psychology and a Masters of Business Administration ('21) with a focus in healthcare administration from the University of Southern Indiana. He also holds a Lean Practitioner certification from Purdue. In addition, Jordan has received training on the Nurtured Heart Approach to behavior modification; the Transition to Independence Process Model; healthcare quality standards (National Association for Healthcare Quality); Basic Skills for Tobacco Treatment (UMass Medical School); and social work (Indiana University graduate program). Training from the Indiana School of Ministry allows him to assist the leadership team at his church.
