Manager Communications, Marketing, and Special Initiatives
Jeanine Parsch serves Purdue University as Manager Communications, Marketing, and Special Initiatives for Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA). In this role, she oversees marketing and communications associated with the evidence-based implementation and community engagement initiatives. She manages the programmatic recruitment, participant engagement and dissemination for all of PHA's grant awards, and she communicates with strategic markets in Indiana and nationwide to promote PHA’s services, which include subject-matter expertise, coaching and training. She also assists leadership in developing winning and innovative grant submissions.
Prior to PHA, Jeanine served as director of communications & marketing and corporate spokesperson for the Purdue Research Foundation, and was part of a team that spent nine years growing the Purdue Research Parks from a handful of companies into the largest university-affiliated technology incubation complex in the country. She has worked at Purdue in various media relations roles since 1997, when she left the radio industry. Her nine-year radio career culminated in an anchor/reporter position at Indianapolis-based WIBC-AM/FM, the largest radio news-talk-sports station in the state.
Jeanine holds an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) and has served on several boards including the American Advertising Federation (AAF) North Central Indiana and the Indiana Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations Society (IHMPRS). She is an accomplished speechwriter, a skill learned while serving Governor Orr's Administration as a Governor's Fellow. Her work in broadcasting, public relations and advertising has garnered awards (Associated Press; Council for the Advancement of Education; and the ADDYs). She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Ernie Pile School of Journalism at Indiana University and a Master of Arts from the Brian Lamb School of Communication at Purdue University.
