Senior Quality Advisor
Patricia “Patty” Rose, CPHP, serves as Senior Quality Advisor at Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA). In this role, she supports Indiana clinicians in understanding and meeting the requirements of numerous national and state quality initiatives, including the Quality Payment Program (QPP) and its Merit-based Incentive Payment Program (MIPS), and serves Indiana providers through the Indiana Medicaid Promoting Interoperability Programs (formerly MU).
Patty is an Indiana QPP Advisor for the QPP Resource Center™ for the Midwest (QPP-RC); a past Project Facilitator for the Healthy Hearts in the Heartland (H3) research project focused on quality improvement and the prevention of cardiovascular diseases; and currently a special focus on Quality Improvement project’s-Social Determinants of Health, and Telehealth/Telemedicine. Patty also provides expertise to practices, clinics and hospitals through fee-for-service work. She joined the PHA-managed Purdue Regional Extension Center in May of 2014 to support providers across the State of Indiana in the adoption of electronic health records (EHR) and the fulfilling of and attestation to EHR Incentive program, MIPS.
Prior to joining the PHA team, Patty served as IT system support/Meaningful Use analyst for the multi-specialty group Indiana University Health Goshen Physicians, where she helped more than fifty providers attest within the Meaningful Use/EHR Incentive Payment Program, Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) and assisted with ACO implementation within the organization. Prior to IU Health, Patty was a medical office manager. She also has extensive experience in surgical coding.
Patty earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in health care administration. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
