Andrew Wilkinson


Andrew "Andy" Wilkinson, MS, LSSMBB serves as a Lead Advisor, Lean Healthcare at Purdue Health Advisors. In this role, he supports hospitals and clinics with process improvement projects applying lean methodologies. He also provides process-improvement facilitation and support for the Indiana Health Equity Alliance (I-HEAL) as part of PHA's partnership with the Indiana Department of Health to better prepare the state for the next pandemic by improving pandemic response, health equity, and health outcomes in counties considered most vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Andy’s passion as a strategic problem solver is focused on the growth and development of people by assisting them to deliver amazing team and business results through the use lean principles and behaviors; all while reshaping organizational culture. An accomplished executive with over 20+ years of successful strategic and tactical leadership experience within the health insurance, manufacturing, and financial services industries, Andy has a proven track record of driving operational excellence through expertise in lean and Six Sigma principles as well as a reputation for leading large-scale business transformations toward highly effective, continuous improvement initiatives.

Andy obtained a master's degree in industrial technology from Purdue and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Andy also has vast expertise in managing organizational change. As a motivational coach and mentor, Andy excels at training and developing all levels of employee and leaders. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, holds advanced Lean Practitioner Certifications from Purdue University, and is certified in Organizational Training and Design Development by Kent State University.
