In March of 2018, Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA) announced the launch of PHA Direct, a new online platform for instruction, coaching and community building. PHA Direct offers the convenience, flexibility and seamless collaboration options of online (versus in-person) training, using the award-winning D2L Brightspace Learning Management System to offer easy-to-use, interactive, and customized learning experiences.

Lean training for healthcare just got more convenient

  • training, coaching and certification in lean at four levels of mastery, including in-person, online, and blended approaches (see courses on left).
  • flipped classrooms where students study online to gain basic conceptual knowledge, then experience firsthand a multi-day improvement event.

  • online communities to support the development of soft skills and behavior change such as resilience, leadership, and teamwork. PHA Direct online courses

Lean Immersion — The first performance-improvement program to integrate complex processes, subtle people-to-people interactions, and behavior-change challenges into a single, online, community-based learning network. The course trains and certifies you as a Lean Immersion Facilitator, proficient in both Lean Daily Improvement and Lean Behavior Change.*

Lean Daily Improvement (online) — Equips you with robust lean techniques to make systematic changes while work is being done. It's a method that provides the least amount of disruption to the workday. Offered to healthcare organizations and to individual learners. Track 1 of the Lean Immersion program trains and certifies you as a Lean Daily Improvement Facilitator.*

Lean Daily Improvement (remote training) — Offered to healthcare organizations only. Consists of a series of training webinars supported by coaching.

kCards — Developing professionals, changing organizational culture, and impacting patient behavior for improved care all benefit from playing kCards as a daily mindful practice to hardwire new behaviors. This tool helps our clients address training needs for soft skills or "people skills."
