PHA Direct

In March of 2018, Purdue Healthcare Advisors (PHA) announced the launch of PHA Direct, a new online platform for instruction, coaching and community building. PHA Direct offers the convenience, flexibility and seamless collaboration options of online (versus in-person) training, using the award-winning D2L Brightspace Learning Management System to offer easy-to-use, interactive, and customized learning experiences. Download this flyer to learn more. 

Available courses through PHA Direct

  • Lean Daily Improvement — Equips you with robust lean techniques to make systematic changes while work is being done. It's a method that provides the least amount of disruption to the workday. Offered to healthcare organizations and to individual learners. Learners have the option of earning an LDI Facilitator Certification or a digital badge.

  • flipped classrooms where students study modules online to gain basic conceptual knowledge, then gain experience through implementation of a live application (if pursuing certification);
  • remote coaching from lean experts who guide learners through lean application work; and
  • an active community of practice where clients share  solutions, access the latest tools, and get support from University experts. Connect already includes 300+ members from 27 different organizations with 100+ reusable solutions (three years of access).

Online lean training and remote coaching can be a cost-effective way to spread dollars received from the Small Rural Hospital Improvement Grant Program (SHIP). Inquire about our SHIP-funded work with Critical Access Hospitals in Indiana and Oregon under the Lean Healthcare Transformation Initiative.
