Strategic Doing™ in Healthcare - Practitioner Training & Certification
A Master Class in Leading Complex Collaboration
As we tackle community health issues, we must design and guide complex collaborations among diverse stakeholders toward shared outcomes. This approach helps us to do this with competence and grace. The result of a partnership of the Purdue Agile Strategy Lab, Purdue Healthcare Advisors and the Organizational Leadership program in the Purdue Polytechnic Institute’s Department of Technology Leadership and Innovation, Strategic Doing™ in Healthcare-Practitioner Training & Certification helps participants understand and practice a different way of thinking, behaving, and working together; how to innovate in open networks; and how to get significant productivity gains through shared leadership and collective action.
The Training Experience
You'll learn how to be a "Strategic Doer" as well as unpack why it works so you can make it your own. As you consider how to start using Strategic Doing™ to approach your own challenges, you'll get assistance from the instructors as well as your peers. Upon completion, you’ll be able to lead a group to tackle a collaborative undertaking. Participants receive a copy of the book Strategic Doing: Ten Skills for Agile Leadership (Wiley, 2019), the Strategic Doing Field Guide as well as access to an online library of resources.
Your lead instructor for this course will be Scott Hutcheson, PhD, co-author of the Strategic Doing™ book, co-founder of the Purdue Agile Strategy Lab, and a Senior Lecturer and Director of the Organizational Leadership program at Purdue. Scott has taught Strategic Doing™ to thousands of learners on several continents and has had learners from over 140 countries participate in his courses and workshops. Joining Scott will be Patty Rose, Senior Quality Advisor with Purdue Healthcare Advisors, who uses the discipline extensively in her work with healthcare organizations and communities.
Future trainings TBA. The cost for the training is $1,975 which includes all materials as well as access to the follow-up certification component.
