Quality Services for Healthcare Staying Compliant
Telehealth: Starting or improving your telehealth services
The COVID-19 public health emergency has shone a light on the importance of telehealth in managing health and providing services to patients. Healthcare providers who incorporate telehealth into their office processes can provide more access to services for patients; more variety in their service offerings; and generate practice revenue. Patients report greater satisfaction along with improved health outcomes and lowered costs.
Right now, PHA is providing practices with guidance on how this crisis is impacting telehealth options related to Medicare and Medicaid patients, and what clinics and practices can do to get their telehealth services up and running. Find out more.
Metrics: QI and PCMH to boost metrics and improve care
Are you seeing lower-than-expected MIPS Composite Quality Measures (CQMs)? We can work with you to improve these metrics and your overall score with the application of Lean Daily Improvement (LDI), a continuous improvement process run at the point of service so it doesn't disrupt your day-to-day activities.
We also can help you achieve Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) recognition, which can lead to higher quality and lower costs, and can improve patients’ and providers’ experience of care. We've guided clients to PCMH by enhancing their ability to manage their patient populations; track/coordinate care; and measure/improve performance. We'll help you determine PCMH eligibility; guide you in transforming your practice using PCMH standards and guidelines; and assist you with preparing your submission for recognition to the NCQA or other recognizing body. Formal recognition has many benefits. The majority of PCMH practices recognized by NCQA receive financial rewards from their state Medicaid agencies or commercial insurance companies.
For Lean Daily Improvement and/or PCMH recognition, contact PHA Senior Advisor Natalie Stewart at (765) 496-1265 for contract pricing.
